Qualifications/Description:

NEAT seeks a student to assist with office outreach and grant writing for approximately 10 hours a week.  

Depending on the applicant’s strengths and experiences, the student would help with the following: calling members of the neighborhood, canvassing the neighborhood, researching and writing grants, and general office work.  Students must enjoy working with people, have strong conversational and phone skills, possess organizational thinking and absolutely must be able to work independently.  Student work primarily out of the NEAT office located at 688 Main Street.  This is a great opportunity to experience how a small non-profit focused on community organizing truly operates.

Student must have work study and be a sophomore, junior or senior to apply.  

NEAT is a grassroots neighborhood group that advocates for Middletown's North End.

This position is for Federal Work-Study eligible students only.
