NSF Important Information
As of January 18, 2011 all NSF proposals now require a Data Management Plan. Please be aware that even if a data management plan is not necessary for your research you still must include a document that states that a Data Management Plan is not required and why.

Major changes for NSF include requirement of a postdoctoral fellowship mentoring plan within the 15 page project description, as well as allowance for salary reimbursement for two months per year instead of two months per summer. A new certification requirement calls for the University to have a plan in place to provide appropriate training and oversight in the responsible and ethical conduct of research to undergraduates, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers who will be supported by NSF to conduct research. This certification is University-wide and does not need to be included in individual applications.
