CareerSearch is a highly searchable database of more than 2 million domestic organizations. Find companies/institutions in the legal industry and in your geographic region of interest, then read a little about them and get connected to their web sites.

 

Spotlight on Careers is directory of career topics of interest to those interested in the legal industry. Each topic contains background information about a specific career field, internship and job listings, alumni profiles, and more. Off-campus users, get password in advance from your portfolio [students], WesNet [alumni], or via crc@wesleyan.edu.

Researching Positions and Job Titles

  • CollegeGrad.com - Detailed information about duties and requirements of a wide variety of job positions, sorted by industry.
  • Monster.com's Job Profiles - Learn about what's required if you want one of these types of jobs; the site has over 120 profiles.
  • O*Net - Searchable database of job titles with comprehensive information about duties, environment, and skills required.
