
Sarah Miller '12 (photo) made short work of her matches at #2 singles, winning 6-0, 6-0 vs. S.D.; 6-2, 6-0 vs. Bryn Mawr; and 6-0, 6-0 vs. Christopher Newport as she went 5-0 in Florida without yielding more than two games in any of her 10 sets played with a 60-7 margin in games. She also teamed with Anika Fischer '10 for five wins at #1 doubles down south.
Over the last three matches, Wesleyan singles players dropped just two sets as #4 Meredith Holmes '10 also went 5-0. The doubles pair of Casey Simchik '10 and Ana Alvarado '12 joined Miller and Fischer with a perfect record at #3.
Wesleyan will be off from match action for a couple of weeks before hitting the home courts Sun., March 29 in a NESCAC match vs. Colby.
