Hannah Jackson '09 Picks up 3 Scoring Points While Sena Ito '11 Scores Twice but Williams Wins, 4-3

Last year's top scorer Hannah Jackson '09 (#8, photo) picked up a goal and two assists as Wesleyan fought back from two-goal deificits on three occasions at Williams Sun., Nov. 25, but could not come up with the equalizer in the 4-3 setback. Jackson cut into the Ephs' 2-0 edge early in the second period with an unassisted tally but Williams pushed the margin back to two midway through the stanza. Sena Ito '11 then opened her collegiate scoring off assists by Jackson and Jessica Fischer '08 to make it a 3-2 game heading into the final 20 minutes. Again Williams moved ahead by a pair 1:13 into the third period. When Jackson set up Ito for her second goal, this one on the power-play at the 9:54 mark, it was back to a one-goal contest. Wesleyan pulled keeper Rachel Stemerman '09 (24 saves) for the final minute but the score remained unchanged. Wesleyan moves out of conference for its next two games, both at home vs. Utica Sat. & Sun. Dec. 1 & 2.
