Sierra Livious '14 Paces Cardinals at Little Three Meet with Shot Put Title, Two Other Top-Three Efforts

Wesleyan placed third in the annual Little Three meet, this season hosted by Amherst Sat., April 23.  Wesleyan amassed 73 team points while Williams captured the crown with 176 points.  Amherst followed in second with 114.  Three Cardinals had strong efforts with multiple top-three finishes, paced by Sierra Livious '14 (main photo) as she captured the shot put with a toss of 38-4.  She also came up with third place in the 400m hurdles and anchored the 4x100m relay to second place, joined by Lia Monti '13, Julia Frieze '12 and Kathryn Kulowski '11.

Ashley Swan '13 (photo insert lower left) had the second-place throw in both the javelin and hammer.  Isabel Stern '14 snagged third place in both the 100m hurdles and the high jump. 

Ahead for the squad is the annual NESCAC Championships, hosted by Wesleyan Sat., April 30.
