Momo Saleh '12 and Darren Thomason '11 Have Top Finishes for Wesleyan during Cardinal Invitational
Hosting Hamilton, Trinity, WPI and Clark in the annual Cardinal Invitational Sat.-Sun., Dec. 4-5, Wesleyan picked up 703 team points to finish in fourth place. WPI won the meet with 1337.5 points followed by Hamilton with 1,126.
Momo Saleh '12 (bottom photo) was Wesleyan's top performer as he raced to a trio of third-place efforts, those coming in the 400 individual medley, the 100 breast and the 1650 free, demonstrating his versatility. The Cardinals had one other third-place finish, that coming from Darren Thomason '11 in the 50 breast.
The Cardinals have concluded their first-semester activity and will be back in competitive mode Sat., Jan. 15, traveling to Williams to face the Ephs and Tufts Jumbos in a three-way NESCAC affair. Before that, Wesleyan will venture to Florida for a week's long tranining mission during the break between semesters.
