Wesleyan will have a host of veterans in camp for the 2008-09 campaign led by seniors Stan Grayson '09, Ezaakk Diggs '09, Gabe Gonzalez-Kreisberg '09, Jon Sargent '09 and Kevin Scura '09. Back to serve as the team's assistant coach is recent Wesleyan grad Jimmy Shepherd '07, who scored over 500 points his last two seasons in a Cardinal uniform and set a team mark for three-pointers in a season by averaging 3.0 a game in 2005-06. The 2008-09 season gets underway Fri., Nov. 21 in a tournament at Gordon College. There the Cardinals face William Paterson in an opening-round contest.
