Securing a 1-0 lead on visiting Middlebury Sun., Sept. 23 behind the first career goal of Jamie Thabault '11 (#11, photo by Scott Porter), who received a pass from Nat Galgano '11, the Cards maintained their edge until 16 minutes remained in the second half. At that time, the Panthers tied the game and kept up the pressure until knocking in the eventual game-winner at the 4:22 mark following a penalty corner. There were only 11 shots taken in the contest, three by the Cardinals and eight by the Panthers. Middlebury won its eighth consecutive decision vs. Wesleyan and third one-goal game in a row. Wesleyan will be at Wheaton Wed., Sept. 26 for its next contest.
