StarConn Conference

StarConn is a meeting of amateur and professional astronomers held each year at Wesleyan University. The event is organized by the Astronomical Society of Greater Hartford (ASGH) and hosted on the Wesleyan Campus by the Astronomy department.

Usually held in the spring, this day-long event is open to everyone. The day consists of a full-day schedule of guests speakers discussing topics in the full-range of professional and amateur astronomy. There are also many vendors and exhibitors, and observing at Van Vleck Observatory after dark.
