This collaboration has led to several international concert tours to festivals such as the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid as part of its contemporary music concert series.

The Spanish composer Cesar Camarero writes about Troxler: “Yvonne Troxler's music has digested in a very personal way all the search for a direct relationship with the sound phenomenon inherited from the second part of the 20th century. But she also possesses a sense of balance, a certainty in form and development that makes her music seem timeless, and she manages to communicate in an unusually direct way with the listener. There are musicians and composers, artists in whom we perceive a sixth musical sense and everything they do seems to emerge effortlessly - it seems - with the naturalness with which water flows from a fountain or leaves sprout on a tree. In Spain we have an example of a natural musician and composer: Cristóbal Halffter, whom we unfortunately lost not long ago. Yvonne Troxler is, without a doubt, a natural musician and composer.”
Yvonne Troxler can be heard as a chamber musician and composer on recordings for Innova, Percaso, Musiques Swisses and Neuma Records. She studied in Switzerland at the Basel Music Academy with Peter Efler and at the Bern Conservatory in the master class of Karl Engel. She also studied with Leonard Hokanson (Bloomington, IN), Mieczysław Horszowski (Lucerne) and Peter Feuchtwanger (Basel).
Troxler lives in New York and Amsterdam and teaches piano at Wesleyan University.
