Sushirdeep Narayana
Sushirdeep Narayana’s interests are in various topics of computer science, including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, computer networking high-performance computing, machine learning, economics and computation, design and analysis of algorithms, and algorithmic game theory. His Ph.D. research was the design and development of resource allocation algorithms that are scalable, fair, and efficient in cloud computing environments, and his research also explored market design for maintaining the future demands of a customer in various cloud environments.
Sushirdeep Narayana is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Computer Science at Wesleyan University. Sushirdeep Narayana recently defended his Ph.D. thesis in Computer Science at the University of Illinois, Chicago, advised by Professor Ian A. Kash. His Ph.D. thesis is Algorithms and Market Design for Resource Allocation in the Cloud. This research involves the design and development of algorithms and mechanisms to enable fairer, more efficient solutions to problems faced by cloud providers concerning resource allocation and managing future customer demands. Prior to this, he completed a Master’s thesis in Texas A&M University’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, working under Professor Peng Li. His work has been published by top-tier conferences, such as the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence and Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence.
