Hilary C. Barth

Hilary Barth is a cognitive scientist whose research program explores the development of thinking and learning about number, space, time, and probability; mathematical cognition; social cognitive development; and the development of decision making.

Dr. Barth completed her Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience at MIT, followed by postdoctoral training at the Laboratory for Developmental Studies at Harvard University. She did her undergraduate work at Bryn Mawr College in Psychology, concentrating in Neural & Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Barth is a recipient of an NSF CAREER award and her research program is currently supported by funding from the National Science Foundation.
