Campus Tours and Information Sessions

The Office of Admission is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Summer Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) All events begin at the Stewart M. Reid House, 70 Wyllys Avenue. No pre-registration is necessary for campus tours or group information sessions.

Campus Tours

Before planning your visit, please check the Wesleyan Events Calendar to confirm the tours scheduled for the day of your visit.  Student-led tours are offered at least once a day during most weeks.  In the summer, campus tours are offered Monday through Friday at 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.  Weekend tours are offered on Saturdays and Sundays at 12:00 p.m.  In the fall, campus tours are offered Monday through Friday at 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.  Starting September 8, 2012 through December 2, 2012, weekend tours are offered on Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and Sundays at 12:00 p.m.  It is important to check Wesleyan Events Calendar as tours will run on a reduced schedule during holidays, exams, school breaks and during academic transition periods.

Film Studies Building Tours

Tours of the Film Studies Building are offered on most Fridays at 11:45 am during the school year.  Call the Office of Admission at (860) 685-3000 to confirm a tour will be taking place the date of your visit. In the fall, tours will be offered starting Friday, September 14, 2012 through Friday, November 30, 2012.  There will be no tours offered on Friday, October 12th or Friday, November 23, 2012.  Tours will resume on Friday, February 1, 2013 through Friday, March 1, 2013.  There will be no Film Studies Building tours offered during Spring Break; March 8, 2013 through March 22, 2013 and during the summer months.  Tours will resume on Fridays starting March 29, 2013 through May 3, 2013.  Please check our Wes Fest tour schedule for Friday, April 12, 2013; tours will differ in time.

Special Group Visits (Groups of 8 to a maximum of 50 people)

Private group tours may be scheduled year-round with a one month advance notice.  Group visits are offered to high school and commmunity based organizations serving grade levels 9th-12th.  Tours are one hour and fifteen minutes and Information Sessions are one hour in length.  Limited dining options are available.  The maximum tour size we can accommodate is 50 people including chaperones.

Middle School students in grades 7 and 8 will be accommodated only during the month of November, the first week of May and the month of June.  Tours are one hour and Information Sessions are a half hour in length.  If preferred, a Question & Answer Session may be substituted for the Information Session.  There are no dining options available for middle school students.

Information Sessions

Join an admission dean and a current student for a discussion of Wesleyan, the admissions process, and financial aid. During the summer and when school is in session, information sessions are offered Monday through Friday at 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. In the Fall, sessions are also on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. Please check the Wesleyan Events Calendar for holiday closings and University breaks.
