Interview appointments for first year applicants to the class of 2017 are no longer available.
Although interviews are not a required part of the application process, they are recommended. Interviews at Wesleyan are evaluative, play a role in the admission process, and are a valuable opportunity for an exchange of information about both the candidate and the University. Interviews are available on campus or in a student's selected area through our network of alumni interviewers. Campus interviews are conducted by admission deans and senior interviewers. We begin to interview rising seniors on campus on the first Monday in June. Students may call beginning in May to make arrangements. There are openings on weekdays from June through the beginning of December and Saturday mornings between mid-September and the beginning of December. To schedule a campus interview please call the Office of Admission (860) 685-3000 or send an email to: (firstname.lastname@example.org). Please include your full name, address, phone number, WesID, and two preferred dates, specifying morning or afternoon in your email.
Campus interviews are required for transfer applicants attending a Connecticut Community College and those who are already taking classes at Wesleyan. Interviews are offered Monday through Friday from June to the Transfer deadline of November 1st for Spring Transfer or March 15th for Fall Transfer. On-campus interviews may be scheduled through Nadine Dabbs at email@example.com or (860) 685-2977 or with Laura McQueeney at (860) 685-2972.
- Wesleyan alumni interviews are available starting August 15th through mid-December. If you cannot visit the campus and would like to schedule an interview with a Wesleyan Alumni Admission Volunteer, please click here (you must have a WesID to schedule a WAAV interview). If you do not have a Wesleyan ID number, please call the Office of Admission at 860-685-3000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would like an alumni interview outside the United States please email (email@example.com). Skype Interviews may be available for international students who cannot come to campus and/or live in an area where an alumni volunteer is not available. Deadlines for initiating alumni interviews are as follows: November 15th for EDI, and December 16th for EDII and Regular Decision applicants. For Transfers the deadline is March 15th for fall enrollment or November 1st for spring enrollment.
