Applying to Wesleyan
Students may request a fee waiver if they are applying for financial aid and the cost of applying to Wesleyan would be a financial hardship for the family. Note that applying for a fee waiver will not disadvantage an applicant in any way. To apply for a fee waiver, please send us one of the following documents:
- a letter from your guidance counselor/college advisor or representative from a social service or community agency, stating that the fee would cause financial hardship given limited family resources;
- the NACAC fee waiver request form completed by your guidance counselor/college advisor;
- the College Board Request for Waiver of College Application Fee form (available from your guidance counselor/college advisor if you used SAT or Subject Tests fee waivers).
- We also accept ECO (Expanding College Opportunities) fee waiver forms.
Students who submit an admission application in paper form should include the waiver or request with their application materials. Students who apply via the Common Application site should choose "Other Fee Waiver" as their payment option and then mail the waiver or letter to the Wesleyan Admission Office.
